However, the passage of time and human activities have taken a toll on the surrounding environment, resulting in deforestation and the degradation of the ecosystem.
Reto 10-500 Our Green Vision seeks for integral ecological restoration and conservation efforts, has embarked on a mission to reverse the damage inflicted upon the border of Yaxhá Nakum Naranjo with local communities. Our ambitious goal is to plant 10 thousand trees helped by 500 volunteers. This initiative not only contributes to the restoration of the ecosystem but also provides an opportunity for visitors to actively participate in the conservation process.
The Tree Planting Experience:
Columbus Guatemala Travel wants to offer all travelers a unique and rewarding experience. During the weekend from August 25th to 27th, we will have the chance complete the tree planting activity on Saturday 26th and the day after we will discover Tikal led by knowledgeable local tour guides, you will be introduced to native history and culture relevance additional of learning about our ecosystem to make a lasting impact. By planting a tree, we become
guardians of the environment and leave a legacy that future generations can appreciate.

The tree planting campaign not only contributes to the ecological restoration of the area but also provides numerous long-term benefits. The newly planted trees help combat deforestation, prevent soil erosion, and enhance biodiversity. Iniciativa de Plantación de Árboles de Reto 10-500 En Columbus Guatemala Travel nos apasiona promover el turismo sostenible y contribuir a la preservación de nuestro patrimonio natural y cultural. Campaña de siembra de árboles Reto 10-500 inspirada en restaurar un área vital en Yaxhá Nakum Naranjo, reviviendo el corazón verde de esta antigua civilización maya. En este blog profundizaremos en la importancia de esta iniciativa y destacaremos el impacto positivo que está teniendo en el medio ambiente local.
La Importancia de Yaxhá Nakum Naranjo ya que es un sitio arqueológico históricamente significativo ubicado en Petén, Guatemala. Una vez que fue una ciudad maya próspera, este vasto complejo ahora es un sitio del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO y un destino popular para los visitantes que buscan desentrañar los misterios de las civilizaciones antiguas. Sin embargo, el paso del tiempo y las actividades humanas han afectado el medio ambiente circundante, lo que ha provocado la deforestación y la degradación del ecosistema.
Reto 10-500 Nuestra Visión Verde busca esfuerzos integrales de restauración y conservación ecológica, se ha embarcado en una misión para revertir el daño infligido en la frontera de Yaxhá Nakum Naranjo con las comunidades locales. Nuestro ambicioso objetivo es plantar 10 mil árboles con la ayuda de 500 voluntarios. Esta iniciativa no solo contribuye a la restauración del ecosistema, sino que también brinda una oportunidad para que los visitantes participen activamente en el proceso de conservación.
La experiencia de plantar árboles por Columbus Guatemala Travel quiere ofrecer a todos los viajeros una experiencia única y gratificante. Durante el fin de semana del 25 al 27 de agosto de 2023, tendremos la oportunidad de completar la actividad de plantación de árboles el sábado 26 y el día siguiente descubriremos Tikal guiados por expertos locales, se le presentará la historia nativa y la relevancia cultural adicional de aprender sobre nuestro ecosistema para tener un impacto duradero. Al plantar un árbol, nos convertimos en guardianes del medio ambiente y dejamos un legado que las generaciones futuras podrán apreciar.
