“I was lucky enough to be the only tourist on my tour, so I had a personalized experience, but nonetheless I believe it would’ve been just as good with other guests. Esteban was professional, enthusiastic, and flexible in delivering his wealth of information and tailoring the walk to my pace, questions, and interests. His English was fantastic, and his familiarity with the city is evident by how many locals said hello to him throughout the 3.5 hours. The tour is a great way to see the city and understand it’s rich history. I recommend taking the tour on your first day in Antigua so you can have a better awareness of all of the city has to offer with which to personalize and maximize your stay.”

“Holà! I booked this walking tour from my hostel Selina Antigua, so I didn’t know what to expect. From my hostel, I had to walk about 10mins to get to the Columbus Luxury Travel offices where the tour started. I arrived there and the staff was very friendly. They were about 4. I even got a cup of coffee! We were waiting for 2 other people to show up but they didn’t so I had a private tour with JJ! He was awesome! His English is great and he knew a lot about the history of Antigua! I was able to listen to him tell the stories of this city. In a way, my experience is and will surely be different from what a usual group tour is but JJ really took the time to show me a glimpse of the reality of Guatemalan and a taste of the local food! “I’m just coming back for a vacation to Guatemala and came across Columbus Luxury Travel by coincidence while walking around Antigua on my first day. Started to speak to Caty to ask information and she was very kind and attentive to my questions. I liked her joyful personality and she really inspired confidence so I booked my tour to Pacaya Volcano. Esteban was my guide and he was on time and very friendly…easy to approach! While we drove to the site he was very informative on his country and kept me interested in all his stories. The tour was well organized, he even an additional local guide who had a horse following us in case I would need it to finish the excursion (which I did….thought I was stronger but the climb is pretty steep)…I was extremely thankful! the highlight was having some grilled marshmallows over a crater. Pretty surreal!!! Going back Esteban took a different route just to make sure I had different sceneries going back…what an experience!! I highly recommend them!! They can pretty much organized what ever you need and you don’t feel pressured in purchasing more excursions. You know they loved what they do and they demonstrate it through their professional service. Thanks again to Caty and Esteban to making my vacation to Guatemala special and safe!”
